CG-6535 was a United States Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin helicopter in service at Aviation Training Center, Mobile, Alabama. On February 28, 2012 while on a training sortie CG-6535 crashed in Mobile Bay. A full Coast Guard and interagency search and rescue effort was launched and the aircraft was quickly located. Despite efforts to rescue the four man crew, all perished. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
