 CG-6017 was a United States Coast Guard MH60-T Jayhawk helicopter in service at Air Station Sitka, Alaska. On July 7, 2010 the helicopter, with four crewmembers aboard, went down in the waters near James Island at LaPush, Washington at 9:30 a.m. Rescue efforts began immediately, but three of the aircrew perished. |
